Silver Harmony Music provides free music education and playing to seniors centers across San Gabriel Valley. Our volunteers offer weekly musical performances and group lessons. Students aged 13+ are welcome to volunteer for a variety of roles. To support our whole initiative, we need musicians, photographers, artists and more. At Silver Harmony Music, we believe that music offers substantial benefits both physically and mentally. Listening to music can improve mood, while playing music can increase memory and motor skills. Our lesson plans are thoughtfully designed to accommodate seniors in memory care units, and encourage connection.
